THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY A HOME
STARTING IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP
This guide was created for those who don’t know what to expect or where to start. There are people who will feel more comfortable reading this than walking into an institution to ask what they may consider “dumb questions”. If this describes you, you’ve come to the right place.
Some of the people I’ve worked with are the first ones in their family to ever purchase a home, others have owned several. Either way, I commend any and everyone who is taking an interest in home ownership. In my opinion, real estate is the new bank. One of the safest and most rewarding places to put your money short term or long term. People often forget or don’t pay attention to the equity created in their home just by living there and paying the balance down. Ownership comes with a lot of responsibilities, but there are also a lot of benefits. Buying a home for the first time can be intimidating, primarily because for most individuals, it’s the single largest purchase they’re ever going to make. With that said, it’s very important to do that the right way
